14 Year Old Gelding 14.3 HH

George is a gorgeous deep black grade gelding. Easy to shoe, to load and to unload, saddle, stands tied. Kid, dog and traffic safe. He’s a been there done that horse. He’s been packed, ridden bareback and double, He’s been on our forest permit moving cows, cutting trail, and packing salt since he was four. He’s used to logs, brush, water, is fine with being alone. hobble broke. He has taken two girls to horse camp. Has been used as an English riding lesson horse. He loves kids! Respects fences, including electric. He still has plenty of go for a day’s work. This last summer we put 19 miles on him in one day and continued to use him every day that week for gather. He’s completely sound. We’ve put out all winter and, in the spring, you just get on and go. A little picky on how he’s caught. He has been a part of our family for a long time and now he is excited to join yours.
